Everywhere in Vietnam you can see rice. Vietnamese people eat rice everyday in their meals. Rice is part of their life and it reflects the Vietnamese culture. Nowadays, technology is applied widely in producing rice and that helps much farmers and it is less hard in farming work. Therefore the old traditional ways of producing rice is still kept unchanged in some parts of the country as it is the basic work to have rice.
Dacotours would like to help tourists understand the life of the countryside people. You will see and talk to the local people. Join us to learn all about rice: raking soil on the field; scooping water, transplanting rice, preparing cooking rice… We back you to the old life of our ancestors. You also help the farmers work on the field. The local people instruct you all of the farming work, and that shows you the life of people in the countryside of Vietnam.
Our tour guide and driver will pikc you up at the meeting point in Da Nang city or Hoi An on time.
After tranfers, you will enjoy Agricultural Travel with B.M.W (Buffalo Mobil Wagon) through beautiful countryside.
Arrive in a farming family, enjoy some Rice tea, wear traditional farming shirt
Going to the farm and take part in some fun activities like: buffalo riding and taking pictures with buffalo (15 minutes)
Join with local farmers to work on the field: ploughing soil, harrowing soil, transplanting rice, scooping water with different scoopers (60 minutes)
Then go back to the farm house, learn how to make cooking rice: husking, winnowing, pounding & sifting rice; make rice milk and cook rice cakes.
Have meal at the farm house with some specialties of the area: Deep Fried Spring Rolls, Banh Xeo (Local pancake), Banh Can (Rice bowl cake), Steamed rice with Fish and Soup, Seasonal fruits (45 minutes)
Return to Danang city center
02:00pm Our driver and tour guide drop you off at the hotel in Danang city center. See you again in other tours.
